Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Program
Nicor Rebates
Nicor offers multiple resources for customers looking to complete energy efficiency projects. Businesses can receive free assessments and products, rebates for select energy efficiency projects, and custom incentives for projects that do not fall under the standard list of rebates. Nicor’s Emerging Technology program also seeks to bring new energy efficient technology into the market.

Process
- Select project/equipment to be installed.
- Choose a contractor from Nicor’s contractor list.
- Install equipment prior to the end of the calendar year to qualify for that year’s rebates.
- Submit an application within 90 days of install or by January 31 of the following year (whichever comes first).
- Receive your rebate.
- *Note: for custom incentives, pre-approval and final approval are required through separate applications.
Advantages
Assessments are free and facilities can receive ASHRAE Level 1 or Level 2 audits depending on building size, custom incentives available.
